Counselling & Fees

Counselling with me

Coming to Counselling or seeking help for the first time can be daunting and I understand how difficult it might have been for you to get to this point.  The good news is, that you've taken the first step.

I am a qualified Integrative Therpeutic Counsellor, which means that I am able to draw on different methods and approaches to find the way of working that is going to be most suitable for you (Integrative, Humanistic, Person Centred, Psychodynamic).  I also draw on many years of experience in working with the mind-body connection through yoga, meditation and breathwork.

I am guided by the BACP Ethical Framework and continue to develop my Counselling Practice with regular Continued Professional Development, and Supervision as required by the BACP for its Registered Members.

People come to Counselling for many different reasons and this can be a time when you may be feeling at your most vulnerable.

I offer a warm, safe, confidential, space where you can explore whatever is troubling you without judgement.  We can work together to help you navigate a way through your past or present challenges.  Counselling provides a therapeutic environment where YOU are the sole focus.  This may feel very different to relationships and interactions with friends or family.

I offer a free initial telephone consultation (approximately 20 minutes) where we can discuss your Counselling needs, goals and expectations.  You'll be able to get a sense of who I am and how we might work together, with no pressure or obligation to continue if you don't feel that we're a good 'fit'.  I work with Adults (over 18) in the United Kingdom.  I work face to face and online in Buntingford, Hertfordshire.

What can I help you with?

The list below shows some of the challenges that Counselling can help with but if your issue isn't listed here, or you're unsure about whether we can work together on a particular challenge, we can discuss this as part of your free introductory telephone consultation.
